EELC Corner

March 27, 2024

It’s time to start planning for the 2024 Early Educators Leadership Conference (EELC). This year, the Council’s annual conference will take place on October 16-19 in Washington, DC, where our nation’s leaders meet. And you will join leaders in the ECE field as we focus on the theme: Igniting Innovation in Early Childhood: From Passion to Action. Expect to learn new ways to light up young minds and improve the early childhood profession.

Registration for the EELC has opened, and we encourage you to sign up as soon as you can. The conference is always a sold-out event, and you’ll see why it gets our attendees fired up when you learn more about the EELC.

Our plans for the conference are still progressing and we now have some great news. The Council will offer two Pathway to Equity Scholarships to attend EELC, and this opportunity is open to all who embrace the ideals of ECE. You’re eligible to apply if you are an early childhood professional who has shown a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion in your community and classroom. You can also apply if you are a family child care educator who provides high-quality education to young learners from underserved groups, a major part of our mission to help every child succeed. So, if you share the Council’s goal, apply before the closing date of April 19, 2024. Take advantage of this chance to attend EELC and learn how to do even more to build pathways to equity for all children.

Organizations can also support this goal by becoming conference sponsors. Whatever the size of your group, there’s a sponsorship level for you. Choose from a range of ways to align your brand with a premier conference designed to lift up the early learning field and the communities it serves. Review our sponsorship prospectus to learn how you can raise your profile among early childhood leaders who are advancing our field across the nation.

Wherever you live and work, we look forward to seeing you in DC at the EELC. Let’s blaze new trails that will help us ignite a passion for learning in children and act together to serve them even better.
